Topic:

Steve Tran will be discussing some common exploits used in the wild. There will be a demo on these exploits and how you can set these up and use them yourself as a security test. After the demo, attendees can use their own computer to log into a virtual lab environment to play around with the exploit. The second half of the session will be an open forum to discuss and collaborate ways forensic examiners/investigators can locate, identify, and analyze evidence left behind by the attacker.

steveSteve Tran holds a Bachelors in Criminal Justice from CSUF and a Masters in Computer Security from Boston University and is certified in CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, AccessData Accredited Certified Examiner, Cisco’s CCENT, CCNA, CCNA Security, CCDA, Palo Alto Accredited Configuration Engineer, Certified Penetration Tester and EC-Council Certified Ethical Hacker with over 10 years of experience in the security field; public sector and private sector working for Fortune 100 and 500 companies.
